What does it look like to implement inquiry practices well? What about the role of assessment? How do we build and strengthen a culture of inquiry? How do we craft and encourage meaningful and productive questions that build critical thinking skills, resolve dilemmas, and ignite creative solutions?
Explore these questions and more at Crafting Inquiry! Join us at the beautiful Portland Art Museum this October as four incredible educators come together for the first time! Kath Murdoch, Trevor Mackenzie, Stephanie Harvey, and Kimberly Mitchell will dive into topics around inquiry-based teaching practices including assessment, questioning, literacy, and supporting personal inquiry.
In addition to learning from our four speakers, we will also have job-alike affinity groups so participants can unpack the day's learning in the context of the language or subject that they teach.
